Christmas nail appointment? Here are 6 simple festive looks

Ellen Fitzpatrick

We got you covered.

It’s not long to go before Christmas is finally here and with appointments being made left, right and centre, we barely have time to even think of what we want to get done.

Like most of us, we’ve had a nail appointment booked well in advance, and it’s the one time of year you can really go all out with the design you choose.

From little Santas, extreme glitter or the standard red and green, there are plenty of options to choose from and we’re here to help you narrow down what will suit you best.

Colourful French tips are huge this season, with tips and mix being a huge trend for 2022, why not try introducing them at Christmas time with some Christmas colours or glittery combos on the tips.

Checkered present

It might be a little more advanced but definitely show stopping. It’s not a common design for Christmas nails and will definitely make you stand out.

Star stickers

Reach for the stars with this design, it’s simple, classic and sophisticated and will still look trendy once Christmas is over.

Stars and glitter

Similar to the one above but giving more of a New Years twist, adding glitter to this design will spice it up a little and really bring the sparkle into the new year.

Rudolf or snowman nails

These are definitely a favourite of ours and we’re heading straight to the nail salon to get with Rudolf or a Snowman painted on one of our nails, simply adorable.

Santa hat nails

Another adorable idea is instead of the classic French tip, get the tops of Santa hats (this is definitely the one I’ll be going for.)
