They’re all DIVINE.

So, I would describe myself as a bit of a perfume nerd.

Everyone has their thing, and one of mine is perfumes.

I am always on the look out for new and gorgeous scents, that suit various different places and times.

Do you have a perfume that you only really wear on mad nights out?

Or perhaps a specific smell you prefer to wear on holiday? Or at certain times of the year?

Well, I probably have about 60, and I use them depending on my mood, the weather, or where I am.

So, I have decided that I will start sharing my perfume discoveries with you gals on a monthly basis.

It’d be a shame to keep them to myself.

So, here are my five favourite perfumes for the month of August.

Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine, €110.

I’m actually wearing this bad boy as I write this article, and I’m IN LOVE. Orange Sanguine is like sunshine in a bottle. It has the smell of summer, sun, sea and fresh, delicious oranges. Every time I use it, it puts a smile on my face.

Bottega Veneta Illusione, €63.

This divine woody floral scent was crafted by perfumers Annick Menardo and Amandine Clerc-Marie. It has intense top notes of bergamot and blackcurrant that create an aromatic spark. Feminine orange blossom and vegetal green fig are at the floral heart of the scent, and conjure a warm breeze. Heavenly.

ESCENTRIC MOLECULES Molecule, €82.

This is hard one to describe, as it wouldn’t be your typical fragrance. Molecule 01 consists of one single ingredient, Iso E Super. You’ll notice a gorge, subtle velvety-woody note which will vanish, then re-surface after some time, but more than this, you will notice the impact it has on other people.

Jo Malone London Poppy & Barley, €54.

This is the gorgeous new scent from one of my favourite perfume brands. It’s a lively floral scent, enhanced by rose and violet and topped with juicy blackcurrants. Simply gorgeous!

For the lads…

Tom Ford Ombre Leather, €99.

This warm, heave scent is honestly so delicious, you’ll probably end up stealing it from the man that owns it. It contains a top note of cardamom, with base notes of amber, patchouli and moss. He’ll love it!
