In a recent video for British Vogue, Jessica reminisces on watching her mum apply mascara when she was a kid.
One thing her mum did has stuck with her, and it may be the best mascara hack of all time.
“I always use primer, and I like to just blink,” she explains.
“Literally blinking down onto the wand, as opposed to using her hand to move the wand up the length of her lashes or wiggle it at the base”.
“It gets the product all the way from the base of the lash to the ends.”

Jessica went on to explain the importance of mascara, saying:
“Mascara is the most important because, at the end of the day, when you’re talking to people, I’m looking at your eyes.”
“So I think this is where you should spend a good amount of time, even if you don’t spend too much time on anything else.”
