Who is Kate Middleton’s hairdresser Amanda Cook Tucker? What products does Kate use?

Including a product you can pick up for less than €7.

Kate Middleton never goes anywhere with a hair out of place.

She and husband Prince William are visiting Sweden and Norway this week and of the many staff members accompanying them, one of the most important for Kate will be her personal hairdresser, Amanda Cook Tucker.

Amanda has looked after Kate’s hair since 2012, the year after she got married.

As you might imagine, Amanda has been on many a royal tour and doesn’t pack light.

She shared a photo to her Instagram account on Monday of all the bits she was packing for the Scandinavia trip.

Included in her kit were twenty brushes and combs, two hairdryers, three curling wands and a number of styling products.

They’re hard to make out but, according to People, among the styling products are Kiehl’s Crème with Silk Groom, Charles Worthington: Volume & Bounce Body Booster Mousse, Essential Maximum Hold Unperformed Hairspray and one that every girl has used – Elnett’s Supreme Hold Hairspray, which you can pick up for less than €7.

“Think that’s everything! #worktrip #packing,” she captioned the snap.

It’s probably the last glimpse we’ll get at Amanda’s kit as her private Instagram account has been deleted since the photo went up.

Amanda has a long association with the royal family – she’s cut Harry and Williams’ hair since they were boys – but now works full time to keep the Duchess’s famous brunette ‘do looking sleek.

The time she’s spent with the family means she’s a trusted friend as well as a stylist and was one of the first people to meet both Prince George and Princess Charlotte as she visited Kate in hospital to do her hair after their births.

Amanda is also reportedly always looking out for new hair trends and introduced Kate to coconut for taming frizz.
