Lesley Keane is a senior artist for MAC Cosmetics and as I've had the joy of letting her paint my face, I can tell you she's what they call a makeup wizard. I got in touch with her to find out what she thinks will be a popular makeup look for brides this summer and her answer is perfection. So much so that I'm going to say that it's the type of makeup look you'll want to recreate even if you're not getting married anytime soon. Lesley says it's all about glowing skin and warm tones and that sounds so gorgeous and ideal for summer weddings.

"I think glowing skin with rust and bronze tones on the eyes and lips. Bronzing is a trend that has returned along with warmer tones in eyeshadow and lipstick".

If you're looking for inspiration or want to show your makeup artist some pictures ahead of the big day itself, Lesley recommends having a look at 'sunset eye' makeup demos on Instagram. While this particular snap is quite striking, you can tone it down a little for a bridal look but you'll still recreate something a little different. Lesley says that while nude lips are the most popular with brides (think Velvet Teddy, Hug Me, and Twig), red lips are a must for those who want something dramatic.
