Miss Universe Contestants Go Bare-Faced As Part Of #ConfidentlyBeautiful Campaign

Women participating in the Miss Universe 2015 competition have posted no make-up selfies in support of the #ConfidentlyBeautiful campaign.

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) said it wants to use the trending hashtag to “empower women to be self-confident and strive to be their personal best”.

A photo of the newly-crowned Miss Universe 2015, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, was posted today with the caption: “my first day as Miss Universe has officially begun. Starting it off fresh-faced and confidently beautiful”.

A number of Miss Universe contestants have also got behind the campaign, including Miss Ireland, Joanna Cooper.

Miss Universe 2014, Pauline Vega, also showed her support, posting the below photo to Twitter.
