Selena Gomez and Rare Beauty have announced details of the brand's first ever fragrance, Rare Eau de Parfum.
They've become the first major beauty brand to launch a perfume with more than just scent in mind.
The brand new fragrance is an inclusive and accessibility-first perfume, which was created with a team of certified hand therapists, and a team of packaging engineers.
They've designed a bottle that will cater to people with dexterity issues, avoiding the traditional perfume bottles that come with standard pumps and decorative caps that may be challenging to open and use.
This is to ensure that the 'Rare' bottle has the most "effortless and comfortable dispensing".
Fans have praised the bottle design, with one writing on X: "as someone who also has lupus i've been noticing recently how difficult it is to use spray bottles when i'm flaring or my hands hurt/are swollen so i can't wait to see how big of a difference this makes!!".
Another wrote: "A brand with REAL morals".
Others said, "such a thoughtful and inclusive design, love this approach!" and "that is so cute and I'm shocked no one though of it before".
Rare Beauty held a customer study of 56 individuals with mild to severe upper extremity impairments.
They found that 96% said the oversized pump makes it easier to press down on with any part of your hand/body. While 95% said the shape of the bottle allows for a more secure grip.
While 90% said the size of the pump makes it easier to twist and unlock/lock the cap, as well as saying the size and shape of the pump allow you to spray the fragrance more easily.
The Rare Eau de Parfum fragrance itself is "a warm and decadent blend with a touch of spice".
It has top notes of caramel, pistachio, and pink pepper, with heart notes of ginger, cocoa beans, and vanilla, finishing with dry notes of sandalwood, tonka beans, and skin musks.
It'll be available in Ireland, the UK and Europe from Sephora.
Fans can purchase the perfume from 6 August exclusively via the app, ahead of in-store and online from 7 August.
You can head to Rare Beauty's page on the Sephora website to shop the whole range.
