Salon expert and hair genius John Frieda has come up with the answer to your hair hassle – and it involves no apps, websites of dodgy pinning jobs.
In fact is all boils down to 2.25inches.
Studying the angle of jaws, and the length of faces, Frieda devised a simple trick.
If the measure between the end of your ear lobe, and the bottom of your chin is 2.25inches or less, a short ‘do will suit your face. If you’re more than 2.25inches, the rule tends to be to keep those long locks.
Want to test yourself?
Place your palm flat under your chin and have a friend use a ruler to check the measurement from below your ear lobe straight down to your chin.
Saying that, if you have confidence it really won’t matter what way you cut your hair.
