Toasted coconut hair is the stunning new hair trend you’re going to want for summer 2019.
Even the name sounds delicious and if you have brown hair but want to go a little lighter, this is for you.
It’s the latest hair trend to take Instagram by storm and we have to say, we’re seriously loving the snaps of this new look.
Toasted coconut is a new take on the bronde trend, blending brown and blond FYI, and it’s really rather gorge as you’ll see below.
This particular trend isn’t so much about combining the two colours but more about fading them into each other for an oh so subtle look.
Think a deep, rich base with lighter ends which is very much like a new take on ombré hair.
Chatting to Allure, colourist Ami Rexroth explained what’s involved:
“It’s a very rich, dark root that softly transitions and melts into blonder ends”.

It’s all about the transition effect here and possibly our favourite part is the fact that it grows out beautifully and roots aren’t an issue as that’s the look you’re going for.
It can be adapted for blondes too and as you’ll see below in the Instagram posts, it results in a stunning finish.
