Did you notice how super dewy and glorious the models looked at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show?
Would you be shocked to learn that they weren’t wearing any highlighter? Because we sure were.
The amazing Charlotte Tilbury was responsible for the makeup looks that went down the runway, but she had strict instructions.
“The stylist for the show, Sophia Neophitou-Apostolou, wanted the girls to glow and their skin to look fresh, but she said she hates glitter,” Charlotte said backstage to Allure.
This meant that Charlotte had to find a way to give the models a gorgeous glow without any glitter.
Not an easy task, but she found a way!
Charlotte used a mix of skin-care products and creamy, sheer makeup from her own range.
A week before the show, Charlotte sent every model one of her Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask to prepare the skin.
Then, the minute the models arrived on show day, they popped another sheet mask on.
“The mask really gives them a dew and then we put the Magic Cream on top of that,” she explained.
Charlotte then explained what she did to achieve the glow:
“Flawless Filter was perfect for getting the effect we wanted because there’s no shimmer, it’s just this smooth complexion booster.”
“It looks a bit metallic in the tube, but the way it reads, it just makes you look glowy and healthy.”
And wow, did they look gorgeous.
