Irish book lovers will adore Books Upstairs’ new bundle service

Looking for something new to read?

With the coronavirus-related restrictions currently in place until mid-April in Ireland, it looks like we’re going to all be spending a lot more indoors in the coming weeks.

And while their physical doors may have shut, Books Upstairs – based on D’Olier Street in Dublin – have come up with a brilliant way to help book-lovers get the latest reads.

Not only are they taking orders (which can be made via telephone or email – like we said, the store itself is closed at the moment), but they have launched a range of carefully-curated book bundles – and there is something to suit everyone’s tastes.

Between the bundles for adults and children, there are 14 different kinds of parcels to choose from.

These include Memoir and Biography; Poetry; Fiction Favourites; Irish Fiction and New Fiction for adults. And as for bundles for younger readers, they range from Babies and Toddlers to Teenage Readers. You can find the full list of available bundles on their website right hereright here.

All you have to do is click on the bundle you’re interested, and provide some details of the kinds of books you like to read.

Once you’ve emailed over those details, they’ll pick the books for you – and then calculate the the postage, before sending you a Paypal link to pay online.

From there, they’ll wrap up the bundles – seriously though, how gorgeous do they look? – and then post it out to you.

And voila, a new bundle of books to enjoy from the comfort of your home.
