This Irish subscription service is a dream come true for book lovers

As the weather gets colder, one of our favourite things to do is curl up with a cup of tea and a good book.

Whether you can't get enough of mystery novels or tales of romance, there's nothing quite like a good book, is there?

Which is why we were particularly excited when we heard about The Book Resort, an Irish subscription box chock-a-block with sweet treats book lovers will adore.

You can buy a monthly subscription for you or for someone else - which each cost €23 per month - or you can get a one-off box for €25.

There are also set subscriptions available, for either three, six or twelve months.

And the owner of The Book Resort, Aisling, told Her that they have proven to be so popular that people are already requesting them for the holidays.

Each of The Book Resort's boxes arrive with a brand new book for you to relax with.

And while you can pick your favourite genres when you sign up, there's also the option to pick 'surprise me' - which has been one of their most popular options so far.

A full-size bar of Irish chocolate is also included in the box, and so is a small surprise - everything ranging from lip balms to bath bombs.
