May is set to be one of the busiest months for the bookish world, and the number of titles being published in the coming weeks is pretty exciting.
However, we cannot add every single book to our reading list, but I have managed to whittle down a list of May books you simply need to add to your reading list this May.
The Things We Never Say by Elizabeth Strout (May 7th)
Elizabeth Strout can truly do no wrong in my eyes. Her latest novel follows a committed teacher who finds himself overwhelmed by the complexities of modern life. If you loved the movie The Holdovers, then you're going to adore this masterpiece of literary fiction.

Such a Nice Girl by Andrea Mara
The morning after a glamorous, luxury wedding, you and your best friend go to wake your twenty-four-year-old daughters. You open the door to their shared room in the pool-house and find a lamp smashed on the floor, a blood stain on the carpet, a ringing phone – and both girls are nowhere to be seen.
This is Andrea Mara's best book yet. You can read our full review here.
