The Vampire Diaries stars to reunite in adaptation of bestselling thriller

Two stars from The Vampire Diaries are reuniting in this highly anticipated book-to-screen adaptation

The actors rose to fame after starring as Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore on the hit fantasy series, The Vampire Diaries. The show, which ran from 2009 to 2017, became a global success with millions tuning into the series, making it The CW's biggest debut at the time.

Now, Dobrev and Wesley will reunite to star in another book-to-screen adaptation. The pair has been cast in You Deserve to Know.

Both actors will also be executive producers for the TV adaptation of the Aggie Blum Thompson novel.

You Deserve to Know is a tense and thrilling tale about the residents of a peaceful cul-de-sac, whose idyllic lives are turned upside down when a murder happens on their street.
