Introducing The Her.ie & JOE.ie AIB Start-Up Academy Wildcard Search!

We all deserve a second chance at success...

Ten candidates have already been chosen for the AIB Start-Up Academy in association with The Irish Times, but the selection process isn’t over just yet…

Here at Her.ie we believe that everyone deserves a second chance at success so along with our bros at JOE.ie we’ve teamed up with AIB to give ten Irish start-ups another chance to make it into the AIB Start-Up Academy in association with The Irish Times.

Recently, twenty shortlisted Irish start-ups were given the chance to pitch their business ideas to a panel of six judges at The Irish Times and ten worthy businesses where chosen as finalists for the upcoming academy. You can check out more about the ten successful finalists here.

Unfortunately, that means ten start-ups didn’t quite make it through to the next round, but all hope is not lost. All ten of those unsuccessful start-ups were given the opportunity to enter the next phase of the competition: the Her.ie & JOE.ie AIB Start-up Academy Wildcard, as chosen by our readers.

JOE.ie & Her.ie readers (yes, you!) will have the chance to have your say as to who you think deserves a spot in this life changing AIB Start-up Academy out of the nine start-ups that have agreed to take part in the Wildcard process. That’s right, the power is now in your hands to choose the winning Wildcard!

We will be posting a poll here on Her.ie and JOE.ie  over the coming days where readers can select their favourite start-up from the list of ten Wildcards and voting will conclude on Friday, December 12 at 6pm.

The winner of the Her.ie & JOE.ie AIB Start-up Academy Wildcard will be announced on Monday 15 December and will then take part in the academy when it kicks off in January 2015. So, keep an eye out for the poll and be sure to share it with all your friends to help your chosen start-up become our AIB Start-up Academy Wildcard.
