“I’m on Instagram now!”

Amanda Bynes has joined Instagram following a short break from social media.

The actor and former child star announced that she had created a new account yesterday – and that she had also dyed her hair pink.

Definitely a vibe.

“Hey guys, I’m on Instagram now!” she wrote on Twitter. “Check me out.”

Bynes shared a series of photos to her new Gram, including a shot of her graduating from Los Angeles’ Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.

The 33-year-old took a break from social media earlier this year following reports that she had returned to rehab due to a relapse.

The She’s The Man star reportedly entered a mental health facility in January for drug addiction treatment due to the pressure of being in the public eye.

At the time, TMZ reported that she was under the care of addiction counsellors and mental health professionals.

Bynes returned to the public eye last year following an in depth interview with Paper magazine.

She spoke candidly about her past drug use and how “embarrassed” she was by the social media posts she had shared regarding other celebrities.

“Everybody is different, obviously, but for me, the mixture of marijuana and whatever other drugs and sometimes drinking really messed up my brain,” she said.

“I actually am a nice person. I would never feel, say or do any of the things that I did and said to the people I hurt on Twitter.

“There are gateway drugs and thankfully I never did heroin or meth or anything like that but certain things that you think are harmless, they may actually affect you in a more harmful way.”

Bynes was four years sober at the time of her Paper interview.

She later revealed that she had put a pause on her studies with the intention of getting back into acting.
