Miss Antrim, Sacha Livinston was crowned Miss Ireland 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin, on Friday night.
The 20-year-old, from Hillsborough in Belfast, will now travel to Sanya, China, to represent Ireland in the Miss World Competition in December.
The judging panel for the final included blogger Suzanne Jackson, former Miss Ireland Aoife Walsh, Miss Ireland 2012 Rebecca Maguire, Vanity X Make-Up creator Debbie McQuillan, celebrity photographer Brian McEvoy and PR professional Valerie Roe.
TV3’s Midday presenter Elaine Crowley and Brendan Scully hosted the evening, while The Voice of Ireland winner Patrick O'Donoghue provided the entertainment.
The 32 finalists were whittled down to a final three, with Miss Cork South Aoife O'Sullivan, Miss Dublin West Aishlin Maxwell and Sacha brought back to the stage for the crowning and winner’s package presentation.
In addition to her all-expenses paid trip to Sanya in China, Sacha took home: a full make-up brush range and sponsorship from Crowne Brush, a full wardrobe of dresses from So Amazing Fashions, a hair care package for a year from Gold Fever Hair Extensions, professional makeup tuition and make-up for a year from Vanity X make-up and professional nail care for a year from Nail Nerds Ireland.
She also won a weekend stay plus activities at The Adventure Islands, County Mayo to enjoy with friends, a prize valued at €2,000 and she will receive a fashion shoot with top fashion photographer Evan Doherty.
Ireland has only won the Miss World title once, with that honour going to Rosanna Davison in 2003.
