Britney showed off the diamond ring on Instagram earlier today.
Pop superstar Britney Spears has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend Sam Asghari.
Taking to Instagram, the singer showed off her new engagement ring in a number of clips in a reel.
In the caption, she writes: “I can’t fucking believe it !!!!!”
The diamond ring is engaged with the word “lioness”, which, according to Forever Diamonds NY, is his nickname for her.
In one of the clips shared, Sam asks her if she likes the ring, and she says “Yes!”.
Friends and fans flooded the comments section to congratulate the singer.

Her pal Paris Hilton wrote: “Congratulations love!! So happy for you! Welcome to the club!”
On his own account, Sam posted a picture of the two of them kissing, with Britney’s ring finger outstretched.
In his story, Sam joked about getting a prenup.
He wrote: “Thank you everyone who is concerned about the prenup!
“Of course we’re getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day.”

The couple first met on the set of the Slumber Party music video in 2016.
Their engagement news comes just days after the singer’s father officially asked for her conservatorship to end. On 7 September, Jamie Spears filed a petition to end the arrangement, which has been in place for the past 13 years.
Earlier this summer, Britney made an impassioned plea calling for the end of the legal arrangement.
In it, she brought up her desire to marry and start a family with Sam. However, she claimed that the conservatorship doesn’t allow them to even drive together.
At another point in her testimony, Britney described the conservatorship as “abusive” and called for it to be ended immediately.
