Caroline Flack doesn’t sound too happy about returning to the villa for winter Love Island

Winter Love Island countdown commencing in 5,4,3,2...

The Islanders may change but the Flack stays the same.

2020 is the year we’re in for our first-ever double helping of Love Island (not including the Australian and American versions) as we’re getting a WINTER edition set in Cape Town, South Africa.

As usual, singletons from the UK and Ireland will jet overseas in the hopes of finding love, fame, and a Boohoo deal.

But unlike the previous series set in Majorca, the move to South Africa for the first winter season isn’t going down too well with Caroline Flack.

Speaking to the Metro UK, the 40-year-old seemed not so enthusiastic about taking back up the presenting gig.

“It’s a 13 hour flight [to South Africa]. I’ve got to go back and forth the whole time to do Aftersun over here. It’s ‘a long old flight just to do that walking.”

Adding that she’s heading there for the first time of the season to do some promo this Saturday, Caroline added that she “hasn’t packed anything” yet.

Given that it’s about 22 degrees there now, we’re thinking travel light, Caroline. And by light, we mean in fabric, not baggage.

And as for the show, the start date has now been confirmed for January 8 – could we be more excited?!

You can read more about that here.

We’re totally ready to give up our evenings and social lives to this show again.

Roll it ON.
