We’re trying and failing to hold back the tears.
David Beckham celebrated his 43rd birthday by heading out for dinner in London with close friends and family yesterday. The only person missing from the dinner however, was David’s eldest son Brooklyn, who was over in New York for work. Sharing images over the past three days about how he was missing his family while in NYC, Brooklyn along with the help of his mother, Victoria, secretly flew home and surprised his father on his birthday.
The result, is an extremely overwhelmed and teary-eyed David and the video has left us crying ugly, happy tears. This is just two sweet.
Shared to social media by Victoria, she wrote: “The biggest surprise of the day…. Welcome home @brooklynbeckham X happy birthday @davidbeckham I love u so much x kisses”
We just cannot cope with this, it is so beautifully overwhelming.
And this was only the beginning of an evening full of celebrations, as David was gifted with sentimental presents from all his kids including a card from Romeo saying: “You are the best dad in the world! I hope you have the best day!” As well as a card from Cruz saying: “Dad you the man.”
