Delighted for her.

We’re not even a full week into 2023 and it already seems like this year is Doireann Garrihy’s year.

Ahead of her debut as a presenter on Dancing With The Stars alongside Jennifer Zamparelli, she’s just revealed that her love life is doing just as well as her professional one.

While she has been hinting at it now for a while following her split from long-term boyfriend Paddy Wilson in April, Doireann has made her relationship with new boyfriend Mark Meighan official the only way millennials know how to – on Instagram.

Posting the sweetest 2022 highlights album on Instagram – and there was a lot of highlights – one featured an adorable picture of her and Mark.

Rumours began circulating that Doireann and comedian Mark had been dating for the last month after the two were spotted on a romantic night away at the five-star Powerscourt Hotel in Enniskerry.

They were spotted again walking her dog Bertie in Dun Laoghaire and had also been seen at a few of his gigs.

Showing off snaps of her year which included her mum and Bertie, she threw in a snap of Mark so fans really weren’t kept in the dark, writing: “‘It’s been a time.”

Doireann had quite the year in 2022 after she became an official homeowner as well as being announced as the new co-presenter of Dancing With The Stars, which is set to start this month.

Speaking to Her about getting a new co-host, Jennifer Zamparelli said she couldn’t be more excited to see what Doireann brings to the table.

She told us: “I think it’s going to be a very different spotlight because there’s no comparison, they’re [Doireann and Nicky] so different, different background. I’m just really excited to see what she does with the role because that is her in her natural habitat.

“She’s going to be brilliant, she’s going to bring a lot to the role so we’re very, very excited. Her biggest concern is those stairs, for someone who has to do a live television show for the first time. And wait until you see, this will be the first time I’ll fall down them. I’ve done three or four seasons, not once have I tripped.”
