Gemma Collins is well known for giving us quality one liners and being unapologetically herself. We know she's claustrophobic, we know she's got money and now we know that when it comes to what she wears Gemma takes no chances. The 40-year-old TV personality recently revealed that she never wears the same pair of underwear twice, choosing to chuck them rather than wash and reuse them. Collins does give a her reasoning for choosing to get rid of her pants rather than put them through the washing machine and it all comes down to hygiene. The Celebrity Big Brother star says that she thinks wearing underwear more than once is unhygienic and feels that even if they've been through the washing machine they're still not clean enough.

"I don’t wear the same underwear twice. It’s disgusting, it’s bad. I don’t like the way they feel after a wash. I just like a fresh pair every time I go out."

  While Collins stands by her decision she also acknowledges that by doing what she's doing, she's harming the environment. During an interview when confronted with the fact that her actions are not eco-friendly Collins said that she knows she has to do better and will try to change her ways;

"I’ve got to change my ways. I’m a sinner, I’m a bad girl."

That being said Collins also revealed that she doesn't actually bin the pants that she wants rid of but rather washes them and puts them into storage. I feel like that leaves even more questions, like what does she plan to do with them if she's never going to wear them again but I don't know if we'll ever get the answer. All I know is that with Penneys closed I don't think any of us could afford to try anything quite the same.
