Wiig and Rothman were first spotted together in May 2016, when thy were on a romantic break in Hawaii.
However, a source told PEOPLE at the time that the pair had been "secretly dating for a few months".
“He’s her boyfriend. They’re really happy together," the insider continued.
Wiig was previously married to Hayes Hargrove from 2005 until 2009. Following their divorce, she admitted she had no plans to get married again.
She said at the time [via Us Weekly]:
“I probably won’t ever get married [again]; it’s not something that I would want to do, “[In Bridesmaids we were careful] to not send the message that you need to get married. I think women put that pressure on themselves, maybe even more than society does, but if you’re the single girl at the wedding, you know someone is going to ask you when you’re going to get married.”
