Another day, another cryptic tweet given to us by a celeb.
Sending a message to his 2 million adoring fans, James said:
“After this album I’m retiring. Love James x.”
So, initially I kind of just thought he was trolling everyone, but then I remembered who we’re dealing with.

James Arthur, in fairness, has not exactly taken to fame like a duck to water.
Plus, he has made a fortune.
So, who could blame him if he chose to leave the industry?
Over the years, James has also spoken out about his struggle with anxiety and mental health.
He spoke to BBC in 2016 about the issue:
“It’s something that’s become part of my life…At one time it was horrendous and I didn’t know what it was.”
“I would go through these episodes where I can’t breathe and I feel like I’m having a heart attack.”

James hasn’t released an album since 2016, when Back from the Edge went straight to number one in the charts.
So as you can imagine, his fans are chomping at the bit for the new record.
Myself included actually, I like the sound of his raspy voice!
