OK, awkward.
We are all well aware of Kim Kardashian’s 72 day marriage to Kris Humphries.
It was well documented on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and the whole thing was displayed all over social media too.
Kim’s current husband, Kanye West, is promoting his new album Jesus Is King and has been doing a hella lotta press for it.
In one interview he mentioned Kim’s previous marriage and while it was a joke, we’d still say it was a bit awkward when he arrived home.
Kanye appeared on a very OTT version of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke where they did the stint on a plane – and very aptly named it Airpool Karaoke.
During the sketch they touched on the subject of marriage and Kanye said he believed he made marriage “cool” (as if people have not been getting married for thousands of years).
The rapper said: “People thought it would be uncool to get married, and then I got married and then people went, ‘Oh, that looks cool.’”
Yes alright, Kanye.
James replied: “No one ever thought it would be uncool to marry Kim Kardashian, everybody thought it would be cool to marry Kim Kardashian!”
And that’s when Kanye delivered the line: “Well, not Kris Humphries.”
OK, we’ll admit, we giggled a little…
The Airpool Karaoke episode is a good one though, so if you want more one liners like that from Kanye, definitely give it a watch.
