In an age of celebs sharing selfies of their toned tums just weeks after giving birth, it's refreshing to hear that some high-profile mothers have a more relaxed approach to post-pregnancy weight loss.
In a new interview with This Morning, Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh revealed that she is taking her time when it comes to regaining her old figure and instead focusing on having a healthy lifestyle.
“I don’t want to get papped in a bikini at the moment,” she said “It takes a while to lose baby weight and you shouldn’t rush it.”
Walsh welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Bobby, with partner Justin Scott in September and has been candid about her adjustment to motherhood, opening up in October about her experience of breastfeeding.
"You imagine it will be the most natural thing in the world, but more often than not it doesn't come naturally to either you or the baby! It can be quite distressing when it's not working, but we've definitely cracked it now and it continually gets easier."
