He also gave an update on how he has been coping since.

Love Island star Liam Reardon has spoken about the impact rumours and speculation have had following his break-up with Millie Court.

The pair were crowned the winners of last year’s Love Island, but they broke up earlier this year. In two statements, the pair made it clear that their decision to split was “tough”, but ultimately what was best for both of them.

Yesterday, Liam shared how he has been doing since then.

During a Q&A session on Instagram, Liam was asked how he has been. In response, the Welshman said that a lot of his followers have been asking him that question, and thanked them for reaching out.

“It’s been a difficult few months with moving from my home in Essex to moving back to Wales and now back living back in Essex on my own,” he said.

“Break-ups can be very hard and being in the public eye just makes it that extra bit more difficult to deal with, especially when you have rumours etc. coming out and people judging your character off something which isn’t true.”

He went on to say that he has been feeling down, but has said that he’s been trying to pick himself up and move forward.

He finished up by saying: “Just want to say love to all you guys who follow and support me, especially over these past few months, it means the world.”

Millie, for her part, has also asked fans not to speculate about why they broke up.

Taking to her Instagram stories a few months ago, Millie wrote: “Last thing I want is people to say nasty things about Liam or put the blame on him, or vice versa, it wouldn’t have ended on a good note like it did if anything had happened.

“Going through a break up is hard enough as it is, let alone when people are spreading nasty rumours that are simply not true. Please remember we are human beings too, we have feelings and to always, always be kind. You never know what someone is going through.”
