The Burn singer has been dating Dougie Poynter of McBusted fame since the beginning of the year and the pair have been notoriously private about their relationship.
However, during an appearance on Radio 1’s Breakfast Show With Nick Grimshaw, Ellie decided to give her beau a call as part of the Call or Delete segment of the show.
Knowing that Poynter is a big fan of Johnny Depp, she and Grimshaw played a prank on the 26-year-old by pretending that she had met the Pirates Of The Carribean actor at the Radio 1 studios and he wanted to jam with McBusted.
