They recently experienced an unsettling incident.

Love Island stars Faye Winter and Teddy Soares have installed CCTV footage in their home following a recent break-in.

The couple, who came in third on last year’s series of the dating competition, recently spoke about the frightening experience in which thieves broke into Teddy’s car and stole some of Faye’s belongings, including her camera.

In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Faye said: “We’ve got CCTV and all our neighbours have it. It’s hard, but it’s in the hands of the police and what can we do.”

Her partner Teddy added: “We do already have an alarm so that would ring loudly if anyone tried to break in.”

Faye also praised the police for their assistance following the robbery.

She said: “The police were so helpful and they know where we are with alarm system going directly to them and we have seen a lot more police patrolling which has been really nice.”

Faye previously told her followers about the frightening experience on Instagram.

In her stories, she said: “Today has not been the greatest of days. Teddy has been saying something’s been off for like two days and turns out somebody’s broken into his car and taken my camera and my shoes.”

Faye said that she just bought the camera the previous week, and, she jokingly added: “Enjoy my camera, hun. Shame there’s not a sex tape on it!”

She went on to explain how they were both unsettled by the incident.

“And do you know what the worst thing about this is? They’ve done it really slyly and got into the car somehow. Yesterday Teddy got into the car and was like, ‘my seat’s really far forward’ – and it’s never like that,” she said.

“There are worse things going on in the world, I know. But it’s an invasion, isn’t it? It’s just not nice. “
