He claimed Meghan has “ghosted” him.

Meghan Markle is reportedly having “crisis talks” with her aides in the palace after her father, Thomas Markle’s, latest interview.

Earlier this week, the 74-year-old told Good Morning Britain how he hadn’t spoken to his daughter since she wed Prince Harry earlier this year – a fact that he blames on her.

He claimed that he was “ghosted” by the Duchess of Sussex, as he explained why he believed he had been shut out.

Adding that he texts her “every day”, he said:

“She has always been a very controlling person and that is part of her nature – but she has never been rude. She has always been in charge.

“I’ve been ghosted. I’m not sure why it’s happening. I love my daughter very much. I wish she would reach out, send me a text, anything. There has to be a place for me. I’m her father.”

Thomas went on to issue a plea to the Queen, whom Meghan will be spending the holidays with at Sandringham this year.

He said:

“I would appreciate anything she could do. I would think she would want to resolve family problems.

“All families, royal or otherwise, are the same and they should all be together – certainly around the holidays.”

A source told The Mirror that the royal household believe Thomas has “gone a step too far” by trying to bring the Queen into the continuing family feud, adding that they have become “enraged and yet exhausted” with him.

The senior palace source said:

“The Queen is a dignified woman. Even if she disagreed with the way her grandson’s wife or indeed her staff were dealing with the matter, she would certainly not become involved on this level.”
