Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted to “provide a sense of hope”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s foundation has built a playground to honour the Uvalde school shooting victims.
The Archwell Foundation teamed up with other charities to build the playground. The aim of the project is to “provide a sense of hope” following the devastating shooting.
The team also hopes the playground will offer local children a safe place to play.
The DeLeon Park project will honour the lives lost in the May shooting.
Archewell Foundation director James Holt said; “Our hope is that this special project can help the community heal, and be home to imagination, games and play for many years to come.”

“My heart goes out to the parents, students and the community,” another added.
Others also praised Prince Harry and Meghan for doing valuable work.
“Archwell doing good work and being classy about it. It’s nice that you can do charity and not constantly have to throw it in public to prove your charitable.”
On May 24th, 19 students and two teachers were shot dead in the Robb Elementary School shooting. 17 others were injured in the attack.
Following the devastating mass shooting, Meghan Markle paid tributes to the victims.
She placed flowers at a memorial site outside of the Uvalde County Courthouse.
The former actress honoured the victims in a “personal capacity as a mother”.
She wanted to pay her respects in person.
