Rebekah Vardy says she’ll donate “every penny” in Coleen Rooney court case to charity

Fair play.

Rebekah Vardy has reportedly vowed to donate any money she might receive in damages to charity from her court case against Coleen Rooney.

Rebekah is suing Coleen for libel after she claimed Rebekah’s Instagram account was responsible for leaking personal information to the press.

Rebekah has denied any involvement and has spoken out publically against Coleen for making the statement in the first place, saying that she should have dealt with her directly.

The model could gain up to £300,000 if the judge rules against her rival, and insiders are now saying she is planning on donating it to a worthy cause.

A source told The Sun: “Becky isn’t stupid. She’s well aware there are bigger things going on in the world right now, and that people are horrified at the amount of money she and Coleen have been throwing around, mainly in legal fees.

“Becky never wanted things to go this far, and all she wants is for her name and reputation to be cleared. She’s not after a payday.

“As a result, she’s decided to give any damages to charity and had her advisers set up meetings with a couples of charities. She wants some good to come from this sorry saga.”

The legal battle began back in 2019 when Coleen revealed to her followers that she had set up plan to find out who had been leaking stories about her to the press from her private Instagram account she runs for friends and family.

Coleen revealed she had been posting fake stories and blocked every account from seeing them except Rebekah’s, and then posted it all in a statement on her account for the world to see.
