Singer and producer Ray J was arrested at a Beverly Hills hotel after they say he kicked a patrol car window, was aggressive with staff and allegedly spat at an officer.
The statement from the Beverly Hills Police says that officers were summoned to the hotel on Friday to investigate a report that the singer had inappropriately touched a woman.
Officers found that the contact in the bar was in fact incidental.
Police say that the singer refused to leave and became angry when he was taken into custody. It’s said that he used his feet to kick out and shatter a patrol car window.
The charges include vandalism, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer.
A representative for Ray J has declined to comment on the arrest.
