Sophie Turner explains the huge fallout from her Game of Thrones ‘spoiler’ tattoo

Paul Moore

Some people, eh?

Game of Thrones has absolutely no spoilers because absolutely nothing shocking has ever happened.

Oh wait…

We’re now in that giddy period where fans of the show are filling the wait until Season 8 by reading any morsel of information that they can get.

Hell, we’re all Maesters at this stage and while certain characters are saying their goodbyes and enjoying the wrap parties, fans are studying and reading every single ‘behind the scenes’ story that emerges.

We already told you about the heightened levels of security, returning characters, epic battles, massive budgets and dramatic meetings to come, but spoilers have been hard to find.

Well, aside from this absolutely massive one.

A few weeks ago, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) got herself a new tattoo and a few people and outlets though that this new tattoo was a major spoiler for Season 8.

Well, they’re wrong.

The only thing that this tattoo spoils is that particular plotline in Season 7 as Sansa, Arya and Littelfinger came together.

Then again, we already knew that but it didn’t stop some people from losing the run of themselves.

FYI, any self-respecting Game of Thrones fan already knows this whole ordeal but in a recent interview with The Late Late Show with James Corden, Turner put the issue to rest.

“It’s the direwolf from Game of Thrones and it says ‘The pack survives. Actually, when I was getting it done people advised me not to because it looked like I was giving everything away. But I wasn’t! It’s just a quote from last season, but everyone figures that the pack really does survive. But it’s just a moral I like to live by.”

The quote that Turner is referencing in full is ‘When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.”

Here’s Turner’s interview in full.
