Sydney Sweeney called off her engagement earlier this year

The Anyone But You actress and Braun are said to be casually dating.

A report by People revealed the unusual celebrity pairing, with an insider saying things are not serious between them.

The insider said that the actress is "casually hooking up" with Braun.

Another added, "Everything is casual. She is living her life and working hard."

A source revealed in April that the actress officially ended her relationship with ex-fiancé Jonathan Davino, which was set to take place in May.

The two had started dating in 2018, with their engagement announced in 2022.

Sweeney had not commented on the break-up publicly, but has now confirmed it in an interview with The Times.

The Times asked her whether she was planning a wedding, and Sweeney replied no.

They then asked the Anyone But You actress if she was single, to which she said “yes”:

“I’m learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I’m loving it.” 

It was reported that Sweeney wanted to focus on her career rather than settle down.

An insider previously explained to People that not only did she call off her wedding, but she also ended the relationship.

They explained why Sweeney decided it was time to break up with her long-term partner.

“She’s exactly where she wants to be. Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s all about working right now and very excited about all her projects.”
