For two people who were meant to be broken up, it sure doesn't look like it. But hey, who are we to judge what they do with their romantic lives. So, Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid were spotted kissing in New York on Sunday and it has launched an entire are-they-aren't-they with their fans.

Holding a Starbucks cup and leaning against a wall, Gigi is looking smitten with her beau, as Zayn leans in to kiss her. The pair are both dressed pretty casual and Zayn is debuting a new tattoo on his head... and the whole thing just looks rather... odd?

Last month, the pair split after more than two years together. In a statement, he said:

“Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and friend. “She has such an incredible soul. I’m grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time; we wish this news could have come from us first. We love you all. xZ”

While Gigi wrote:
