Yikes! Royal insider says Christmas will be an ‘ordeal’ for the Duchess of Cambridge

One royal insider has said that Christmas 2018 will be an 'ordeal' for the Duchess of Cambridge.

If you keep up to date with the comings and goings of the royal family, you'll know that there have been a lot of reports about a 'feud' between Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex. It's all speculation but that hasn't stopped the royal rumour mill from going into overdrive and the latest comes from royal biographer, Christopher Wilson. Christmas is traditionally viewed as a time for family and getting to see your nearest and dearest, something you may not get to do during the year. According to this royal biographer, this festive season could be a bit of an "ordeal" for Kate as there have been a lot of rumours about tension between her and Meghan. The mum of three is quite likely to want to spend time with her mum, dad and siblings but she'll be hanging out with the royals at Sandringham. In conversation with new! Christopher explained:

"Kate's a homebody and loves being with her own immediate family at Christmas - off-duty and relaxed.

"Sandringham Christmases can be an ordeal, even for those born royal and generally those who've married into the family often can't wait to get away".

He then referenced the rumours of a rift between Kate and Meghan.

"As with many seasonal family gatherings, there can be undercurrents and the publicity over the Meghan clash won't make things any easier between the girls".

According to reports, Harry and Meghan together with Kate, William, and their three children will spend Christmas with the Queen at Sandringham. It hasn't been confirmed but chances are that Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall will also join them for the annual occasion. We're sure Kate will get some time to spend with her family too and it's sure to be a special time for them as her sister Pippa gave birth to her first child this year. Born within a couple of months of each other, Prince Louis and his cousin, Arthur are sure to be the best of pals
