The Mirror reports that Holly was only happy to take over Ant's role because he had given her his "blessing."
A source told the publication:
Holly is expected to travel to Australia for the show with her three children, Belle, Chester, and Harry. It is understood that her husband Dan Baldwin will be there for a period of time too.“Because of her genuine friendship with Dec they are very natural together.
“Ant is pleased that it will be a friend like Holly stepping into his shoes even though he knows that not being there himself will be hard. Having Ant’s blessing meant an awful lot to Holly.”
