Our Planet is dropping onto Netflix this Friday in 190 counties, which means that approximately one billion people around the world are going to watch the documentary at some stage.
For producer, Alastair Fothergill, that's what makes Our Planet's partnership with Netflix so important.
The Telegraph reports he said:
“The BBC still only has 30 days on iPlayer, it doesn’t simultaneously globally transmit. "And a lot of people who watch Netflix are that 16-30-year-old age group that is deserting terrestrial TV and they actually really care about these issues because they’re the ones that are inheriting the planet."
From the creators of Planet Earth, the eight-part series features never-before-seen footage of wildlife and their habitats.
Shot in 50 countries across each of the continents, the ambitious four-year project will document the natural world's beauty and why it's so important that we start taking real steps to preserve it.
The series will also include some special behind-the-scenes content that will also be available on Netflix from Friday.
Spoiled for Attenborough choice, you are.
Our Planet will be streaming worldwide this Friday, April 5.
