Meghan Markle's half-sister, Samantha, was on Good Morning Britain earlier today to clear up any confusion about her relationship with her estranged sister.
Meghan and Samantha grew up together, but she admits that she hasn't spoken to the actress in a few years. She was recently quoted saying that Meghan was 'self-obsessed' and that she intends to write a tell-all book, The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister.
But, although the name of the book is correct, Samantha insists she never said anything bad about her sister and instead wanted to clarify how she thinks she's 'lovely and charming'.
When asked if she thought Meghan was 'self-obsessed', she said:
"Of course not, of course not. I just have to say, don’t believe what you read in tabloids. If you didn’t see me say it and you didn’t hear it from a reliable source, you’ve got to remember that tabloids say incredibly far-fetched, horrible things about just about everybody.”
She went on to describe how she really feels about her sister:
"She’s lovely. She’s very animated, very charming, very lively and no matter what, I don’t believe that you can be a half-sister. Either you're sisters or you’re not. In my heart and in reality she’s my sister and she’s absolutely lovely. So let me get rid of any misperception about that whatsoever.”
And when asked about the book, she said that it won't be a 'tell-all' but more of a story about their upbringing and their life.
Viewers at home were very confused as to why she would go on the show to speak about her sister at all, claiming that she was doing it for self-promotion, over anything else.
Why is Meghan Markle's half sister cashing in on her writing a book&speaking on @GMB. Disgraceful, disgusting shut ur mouth &respect family
The Holiday is one of the best Christmas movies I would watch The Holiday all year round if it was socially acceptable, but I try to keep my rewatches to December only. Jude Law is eager to return as Graham People may not agree with me, but The Holiday is my number one Christmas movie. The festive rom-com never fails to put a smile on my face, so rumours about a potential sequel felt like Christmas had come early. Rumours about a second installment have been circulating […]
