Sex and the City fans have been sent into orbit after photos emerged from the set of And Just Like That… which show Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Aidan (John Corbett) locking lips.
Sarah shared three photos on her Instagram page of them embracing on a busy Manhattan street, and in her caption, she wrote: “This. Is. Not. A. Drill.”
Understandably, this update has gotten fans ridiculously excited for the next season of And Just Like That…
Gwyneth Paltrow wrote: “NO WAYYYYYY”
Andy Cohen penned: “I’m freaking”
Celeste Barber wrote: “Well I guess we don’t need to watch the show now.”

Throughout his time on the Sex and the City, Aidan served as Carrie’s on-again off-again love interest. The pair started dating in season three, but they called it quits after Carrie admitted to sleeping with Big.
They rekindled their relationship in season four with Aidan popping the question. However, it wasn’t meant to be, and they called it off.
The pair reunited in Sex and the City 2, where they shared a kiss over dinner after a serendipitous meeting in Abu Dhabi.
The last season of And Just Like That… saw the death of Big, leaving behind a widowed Carrie. We saw her date around a little, before she felt comfortable on her own as she returned to writing.

Now, it seems the door is wide open for Carrie and Aidan to explore their connection once more in the second season of the spin-off.
Sarah originally shared the news that John Corbett would be making a comeback in the show by posting three snaps of them walking hand in hand.
In her caption, she teased: “Shh. Don’t tell anyone.”
