Instagram dogs can make more money than regular human bloggers

HOW much?

Olivia Hayes

We can’t believe how much they earn.

We get that dogs in Hollywood can rake in millions simply by appearing in films for a few short minutes.

They’re cute, they behave, and they generally do a really good job on set.

But social media dogs? As adorable as they are, we never thought they could make this much money.

According to Loni Edwards, owner of The Dog Agency, the pups can earn anywhere between $10,000 to $15,000 for one sponsored Instagram post.

Speaking to Mashable, Loni said: “Of course there’s many variables that go into it — the rates pets can make per post depend on the following, the engagement, and what’s involved in the campaign,

“But generally those with a couple hundred thousand followers are making $3,000 to $5,000 (€2,500 to €4,200) per piece of sponsored content, while those in the millions make $10,000 to $15,000 (€8,400 to €12,500).

While us normal earthlings may only have a few hundred followers, it’s almost impossible to think that a dog can earn more than 12 grand for one photo.

Ah, the life of pets, right?
