OK, ew.
It’s safe to say that a lot of us are still in the Wizarding World. We still watch the movies, buy Hogwarts sheets for our beds and spend ridiculous amounts of money to visit Hogsmeade in Universal theme parks.
Another thing a lot of fans do is keep up with Pottermore – the digital notebook for all things Potter, and the tidbits that JK Rowling writes about books and movies. However, the latest bit of info has creeped fans out.
Writing on the Twitter account for Pottermore, Rowling said: “Hogwarts didn’t always have bathrooms. Before adopting Muggle plumbing methods in the eighteenth century, witches and wizards simply relieved themselves wherever they stood, and vanished the evidence.”
Ewwww.
What about the Chamber of Secrets, you ask? The new plumbing almost revealed the Chamber’s entrance – find out more here: https://t.co/SarSDGGrRs

The author later added when plumbing was finally installed into Hogwarts, it lead to wizards nearly finding out about the Chamber of Secrets (which Harry found in the unused bathroom in the second book).
However, many fans were not too pleased with the info:
