WHY did Belle swirl Molly-Mae?

Who do we ACTUALLY want to win?

We discussed all on today’s episode of I’ve Got A Text, our Love Island recap show!

Tune in below, it’s a good one!

 Interesting.

So we all know there has been a lot of talk around the fact that Love Island may be fixed.

A Q&A from last year has resurfaced, which was answered by a former employee of the show.

In the Q&A,the source was asked if the producers “manipulate the show based on who they want to win”.

The response? “Yeah, absolutely”.

“They’re deciding who makes best tv, who is the most frustrating to work with and such things. It’s not just one person saying ‘oh no I like them’. It’s an informed decision.”

They went on, explaining:

“Nothing’s scripted per se, however there is a lot of producer interventions and setting up for the cameras and reshoots. It’s constructed reality at its core.”

An ITV spokesperson has responded to the claims, telling the MailOnline:

“As anyone who watches the show regularly would know, Love Island is a combination of reality and produced elements that are reflective of what’s happening in the villa, and is a fair and accurate representation of villa life.”

“We have always been completely transparent about this and the way the show is produced. This is often acknowledged in the voice over by Iain Stirling. The opinions they have and the relationships formed are completely within the control of the Islanders themselves.”

“As we have said since series one, Love Island is a combination of reality and produced elements.”

Hmmm…
