We'll be taking this one with a pinch of salt.
We still don't know for sure who the father of Stephanie Davis' baby is. She has always said that it's Jeremy McConnell and he has always said that he believes he's not.
He has agreed to take a paternity test to see once and for all if he is the dad.
Before all of that, though, some other names have been thrown into the mix, like
Ex on the Beach star Joshua Ritchie, for example, who has said that he thinks he might be the father.
Now, Marnie Simpson has suggested someone else and it's the last person you would think of. She has apparently "heard" that Scotty T is the father. Apparently.
As we all know Steph and Jeremy, or Jephanie as they were known, first got together in
Celebrity Big Brother this time last year. And as we also already know Scotty T was part of that series too, so you could join those dots and make an assumption but it's very unlikely.
It hasn't stopped Marnie from doing so anyway. According to
The Sun, she said:
"I’m glad Stephanie Davis has safely given birth – and I can’t wait for Jeremy McConnell to take a paternity test…
Imagine if he isn’t the father! I heard that Scotty T might be the dad.
I reckon he’s fathered a lot of babies he doesn’t know about…
He probably has kids in every country. He’s definitely not mature enough to be a dad, but he’d probably be slightly better than Jeremy!"
We can bet Scotty won't be too happy about this.
