If you’re a big fan of dancing to some cheesy tunes, we’ve no doubt you’ve bopped along to ‘Groove Is In The Heart’ on at least one or two occasions.
This week marks the iconic tune’s 25th birthday, with the Deee-Lite song still ranking as a favoured classic for most clubbers:

The single was an immediate success for the group, who reached No.1 on the US Dance Play Chart, and No.4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song also reached No.1 in Australia.
Both the song, and its album ‘World Clique’ went gold within the year.
Unfortunately for Deee-Lite, the group never emulated their own success, with their follow-up tracks failing to break through on a global scale.
We’ll just have to keep this song on repeat so…
