Gig-goers have been warned to beware of bogus ticket sellers ahead of this weekend’s Ed Sheeran concerts at Croke Park. Aiken Promotions released a statement earlier today ahead of the sell-out gigs, which will see support from Bell X1, Gavin James (Fri) and Jamie Lawson (Sat). Gates will open at 5pm on both Friday July 24^th and Saturday July 25^th and fans of the Thinking Out Loud singer will not be permitted to queue outside the venue prior to this time. The promoter also issued important information for all those attending with children at the weekend, including: - Under 14s will not be allowed on the pitch either accompanied or unaccompanied. - All under 16s attending the concert MUST be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian aged over 18. - Guardians must remain with under 16s and take full responsibility for them throughout the event. One adult/guardian can accompany up to four children, however this is a matter you should pay careful attention to, depending on the age and needs of the children involved. - Strict age monitoring will be in place at all entrances and proof of age may be requested. It is the responsibility of the adult accompanying the minor to be able to have documentary evidence to prove that the minor is the age they claim. We recommend if in doubt bringing a colour photocopy of the minor's passport to prevent any delay or disappointment. - We reserve the right to refuse admission without refund to anyone who fails to comply. - There will be FREE TAG-A-KID safety wristbands which will be available at all the customer care points both outside and inside the venue - Parents/Guardians attending with young children are encouraged to avail of these white wristbands which have a space for Parent/Guardian to write a contact number and seat number. The purpose of these wristbands is to help reuniting lost children with parent/guardian should your child become separated from you within the venue. - Patrons are advised not to bring back-packs/ large bags. - The following items will not be permitted: alcohol, banners or flags larger than A4, cameras with more than 1" lens, fireworks, flashlights, food, garden furniture or seats, glass or cans, glowsticks, inflatable balls or balloons, laser pointers, selfie sticks, shooting sticks, studs and spikes, umbrellas, video cameras and audio recording devices and weapons.
