Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine was left feeling flustered at a gig recently when his microphone accidentally hit a fan sitting in the front row.
According to reports, the singer became frustrated when there was a power cut at the gig in Toronto and he reportedly threw the mic on the ground.
He was left watching helplessly though, when the mic bounced up and hit Maroon 5 fan Stephanie Green who was sitting in the front row.
“In my flustered state, I might have thrown my microphone on the ground and then it might have bounced off the ground, into poor, sweet Stephanie’s face,” he told the crowd after first running over to check if she was okay.
“I feel so utterly terrible that I had perhaps wounded this young fan.”
Fan Stephanie though has described the incident as “the best day” in an interview with Toronto’s CityNews.
“My dream come true!” she stated. “I never thought in a million years this would happen to me.
“I was on stage, back and forth, freaking out,” she continued. “He hugged me, grabbed my face, held my hands!
“He kept apologising. I said, ‘I love you, I’m happy, I’m okay!’” she added.
“Once they announce the next concert, first thing… front row… anything can happen!”
