We think it's great news! In 2015, it was widely accepted that Australia were competing in the Eurovision Song Contest as a way of celebrating 60 years of the Eurovision. Everyone was loving the novelty of it all, loads of people voted for them, and though they didn’t win, they did a pretty good job by bagging fifth spot. Now though, Eurovision fans have been left scratching their heads in confusion as it has been announced this week that Australia will enter the contest once more next year… for the, urm, well the 61^st year celebrations…?

We think it’s a great idea altogether and hope that this is a sign that Eurovision fever takes over the world (could you imagine the craic?!), but the news has been met with mixed reactions online.
