Last year, Beyonce headlined Coachella. But she didn't just perform, she brought an entire experience with her, taking the audience (and later, Netflix viewers) on a journey of self-assurance, swag, and absolute bangers. It was a gig to remember - and not just because it had been a long time coming, or because Jay-Z was also there, or because it represented Beyonce's return to performing since she had given birth to her twins. But also because Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland showed up, and it was the first time that the trio had performed together as Destiny's Child in many years. The band belted out a medley of their most popular hits including 'Soldier,' 'Say My Name,' and 'Lose My Breath,' delighting fans, friends, and everybody who had ever twerked their non-existent arse to 'Bootylicious' when they were eight-years-old. And now, it looks as if the gals are set to delight people all over again, as they are - allegedly - planning a full blown reunion. And yes, there will - allegedly - be new music. The Sun reports that Beyonce, Michelle, and Kelly are in talks concerning a US an European Destiny's Child tour next year to mark 20 years since they became the trio fans know and love today. “Beyonce has been desperate to get the girls back together with her in the studio and she can’t think of a better time than 2020, when they will be marking two decades as one of the world’s biggest all-female groups," a source said. “She saw the success of the Spice Girls tour and wants to replicate that — but far bigger and better." The insider said that Beyonce has been meeting with Kelly and Michelle recently to discuss what steps they can take to make this a reality. "It’s early days but they want to record new music and put it out alongside some of their biggest hits," they said. “Then they want to do a tour which will be short enough for them to fit it into their schedules, but big enough to make sure all their fans can make a date to see them. “As well as going around the US they want to play dates in Europe, including the UK." And Ireland, surely. C'mon, lads. Make it happen.
